Evaluating Program Success
Once you have identified the challenges Opportunity Youth face and your capacity as an organization (or your role), the next step is to define, with young adults, clear metrics of success that support their goals
Evaluation should tell you—clearly—whether your program is making a difference for young adults and how to improve next. This module focuses on measuring what matters to young people and to your organization: participation and completion, skill growth, job/education outcomes, and the quality of relationships and support. It combines clear data (like completion rates and outcomes) with direct feedback from young adults so results are useful for daily management, accountability, and learning—not just for reports.
This module is designed for organizations and employers who want to turn data into action. You’ll learn how to track meaningful progress, measure outcomes that matter and ensure your work truly supports their path to success. By the end, your team will be able to make decisions based on evidence, highlight successes, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure that your work truly supports young adults on their path to success.

Evaluating Program Success
The next plays in this module show how to turn your evaluation into action: interpreting results, adjusting strategies, and using insights to continuously improve programming.
Pause and challenge any assumptions or biases to make sure your evaluation reflects what young adults actually need.

Gather data that reflects participation, progress, and outcomes that matter to young adults and your organization.

Focus on the findings that matter most and are within your organization's capacity to improve, support participants, and demonstrate impact.
