Recruiting and Onboarding Young Adults

Now that we have discussed approaches and best practices for supporting young adult success in your program or opportunities offered by your organization, this module focuses on the first steps of engagement: recruitment and onboarding.

Strong programs begin with strong first impressions.
The way young adults learn about your program and the experience they have when they first join can shape their level of trust, engagement, and long-term participation.

This module will offer opportunities to examine how your organization currently recruits participants and how new participants are recruited into your services. The goal is to help teams identify practical ways to make these early experiences clearer, more accessible,

and more realistic for young adults in their journey.

We aim to help organizations build on existing strengths while identifying practical ways to improve the participant experience from the very beginning.
